WHILE HAVING SOME OFF TIME DURING THE HOLYDAYS I DECIDED TO BITE THE BULLET AND REPLACE MY ALREADY "BYPASSED" POWER STEERING TANDEM PUMP.

THE MOST "DETAILED AND TO THE POINT VIDEO" STATED THAT IT WAS A 30 MINUTES JOB, WHICH AFTER GOING TO ALL THE TROUBLES TO REMOVE THE PUMP, I THOUGHT
THIS GUY WAS FULL OF "PUPU DEL TORO" AND ON TOP OF THAT DIDN'T SHOW ALL THE INTRICATE DETAILS.
FIRST OF ALL, YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE THESE INVERTED TORK SOCKETS, EXTENSIONS, SWIVEL JOINTS, SKEWED 17 AND 19 MM WRENCHES, VERY LONG EXTENSIONS, A GOOD LAMP, AND A LOT OF PATIENCE SINCE THE BACK NUTS AND BOLTS
HOLDING THE UNIT ARE IN A VERY AKWARD PLACE. I ACTUALLY HAD TO REMOVE THE FRONT TIRE TO BE ABLE OF ACCESSING AND REMOVING THE REAR BRACKET BOLT.
ACTUALLY TO DO THE JOB IF I HAVE HAD ALL THE TOOLS ON HAND AND PRECISE LOCATION OF THE REAR BOLTS AND NUTS, THE JOB IS AROUND 4 HOURS.
THE NEW SIMPLE POWER STEERING PUMP IS VERY EASY TO INSTALL, OTHER THAN BENDING THE OUTPUT PIPE TO MAKE IT FIT AROUND.THEN CUT THE EXSTING RESERVOIRS HOLDER TO USE IT ONLY FOR THE POWER STEERING FLUID RESERVOIR.
