Question Phone options in SL's?

I am getting an SL500 or SL55 (haven't yet decided- will likely be 2005 model), and am wondering what aftermarket equipment exists so i can use my recently purchased motorala V710 (w/ Verizon) in my new SL- specifically, i would like it be able to mute the radio, integrate with and be dialed from the command system, be able to dial by voice (although this feature is not as important). I really like the way my wife's V60 works in her E500.

So is it possible, and if so, do i need to have the $1450 phone option so the car is prewired? Or am i just better off spending the extra 2K for the phone option?

Your own V710 can't be integrated (as of now) with your COMAND. You need to buy a Mercedes-branded V710, for the bargain price of $935. Then the rest of the kit (at $1450 + $200 for a cradle) will work with it. It includes voice activation so you can dial by voice.
