Chassis End Number
I was looking at a Mercedes Site and saw a bulletin from October 2004 on SBC, they reference a Chassis End Number From ~~~~ to ~~~~~.
Where is the Chassis Number on the SL?

I am sure it also on your insurance card and papers from the dealer.
With respect to this recall there were some 650,000 cars affected worldwide. All the early 2005 cars were held up because of this. With respect to the SL600's the ones that came in the last week in June/1st week in July got by but after that the SL600's were held up for many weeks to fix the problem.
