One thing I would also like to see in the after market software adjustment is to turn off the auto engine stop and let me decide if I want that feature enabled. It's now designed to automatically go into ECO mode each time you start the car.
You can manually disable it, but it's like having to press 1 to speak English. Minor, I know, but rubs me the wrong way a little. After all, it's not a pedal car and you can definitely feel the big engine start and shut down.It may sound a bit arrogant, but if I were all that conscious about saving a mile a gallon during those very rare times I'm stuck in heavy downtown stop and go traffic, I'll either buy a hybrid or moped and save $100k.
....just saying... LOL

Don't like the auto s/s and I truly dislike the press 1 stuff for English; what country is this again?...Grrrrrr!
With most forced induction engines a conservative tune essentially equating to an increase in boost pressure, richened mixture etc should yield a healthy bump in power, in our case about 50 more HP and even more torque, an aggressive tune could top 100 HP but could cause some serious internal drivetrain stresses. I don't know what internal drivetrain parts if any the new TT V8 shares with its AMG cousin but it would be nice to know.
