SL/R231: Engine noise?

Engine noise?
I'm new to this forum, and new to MB. Just got my new SL550 and am wondering if others think the engine makes more noise at idel than non turbo engines. Frankly, when I opened the hood with the engine idling, I thought there must be a bad bearing on one of the accessories. But maybe I'm not used to the turbos spinning. Anyone else feel like the engine is a bit noisy? This car is awesome, and I love it!

I have had the sl550 now for 4 months, i got one of the first ones. I have alot of engine noise, and its really noticable with the top down. I hear it clicking really loud on tiny on throttle movements, and off throttle movements. I thought i was hearing crickets, but its the engine. Will take it to service soon!
