I have my 9500ix mounted just below the mirror. I ran the wire beneath the headliner down to the fuse box next to the drivers door. Too bad it's not a switched circuit. I used Excorts large suction cup and mounted it as high as possible.

I had to shut off the x-band due to the cars own radar.

 

my ECO seems to only work sometimes,when all the stars are in alignment and the car is properly warmed up
