SL/R231: My brakes squeak!
on perfect discs new pads keep squeaking,
tried ALL ways to fix, dismounted three times!
at he end I realize it is due to the material of the pads.
I can only say: avoid SIMER and XPAD brand pads like hell !!!!!!!

Those that have had the dealer remedy the issue - is there a TSB # I should reference?
Then if brakes are single piston models, apply a copper paste lubricant on every part that slides (except disk surface
DDD )Second: apply "anti squeal brake shims" (eg. ebay) on pads. If squealing s dramatic, this tip comes from EBC technical service, install shims only on half of the pad so it covers half of the piston area; (since squealing is a resonance phenomenon, all that dampens pads or changes their geometry will hopefully stop resonance).
I searched a lot regarding restoring resurfacing brake disks, but seems that there is no influence on squealing.
Great, that helps.
Of course they're not worn, it's a new car.
So no help from the dealer, I guess you can't expect more for $125000.
I'm sure if enough noise (no pun intended) is made there will be a change later on

It took two visits but they replaced the pads. It's a common problem with high performance pads.
I have a brake squeak on my 2014 Viper TA but not bad enough to have it fixed.
