SL/R231: Mercedes make a total B4lls up!!!

Mercedes make a total B4lls up!!!
Sue picked up her new SL400 on the 16th September
She was give the 5* treatment and shown round the car and shown how to work everything............
But she said what does the button do on the drivers door down below the window switch
Salesman said its the boot release........ but it had a window emblem on it..... and it did nothing........
She googled it and it all said it should be boot release
a week or so later we went out in it and she was driving............ and i put the passenger window down.......... but it wouldnt come up.......
and i also noticed that the window switch i was pulling had a picture of a "boot(trunk(lol))" on it
so we booked in at Merc
we explained what was happening and i think they thought we were taking the p1ss...........
but anyway.......... the upshot was that in the factory, the 2 switches had been fitted in the opposite way round.......... and because the switches are different........... it didnt work
so they swapped them over ........... and all working as per normal!!!
