Yesterday brought home my new 2017 Sl450 in Cardinal Red Metallic and love the car after trading in my 2008 Sl550. This car has run flat tires so no tire change kit was included but today I realized there is no tow eye in the trunk. If I ever need to be towed onto a flatbed tow truck how would they load up? I am older and not too impressed with no jack or lug wrench but why did MB not include a tow eye? Calling the dealership tomorrow.....
Thanks for the directions! I had already pulled up the floor cover in the trunk but would have never thought to then pull up the floor liner down to the bare metal. Yes, It is there hidden in the bowels of the trunk deeper than deep!
