SL/R231: Did anyone here tried lowering SL just by changing Spring Pads on non-ABC R231?

Has anyone here tried lowering SL just by changing Spring Pads on non-ABC R231?

If yes, what were P/N of the Spring Pads you had originally (or how many "bumps" did they have: 3, 4?) and what were the P/N you switched to (or how many "bumps" did they have: 1, 2?)?

I think this is a great idea. Any progress? I've got a couple of threads going on some other lowering options as well.

Was thinking of getting this. Does the car save the settings after you turn it off and back on? Or are these changes permanent until you hook the device back up and select stock height.
