SL/R231: 9g-Tronic vs 9g Tronic PLUS

Go to the MBUSA site and BUILD a SL450 and you will see under PERFORMANCE AND SAFETY the STANDARD FEATURES and there is no 9G Plus. There is 9G-TRONIC 9 SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION WITH SHIFT PADDLES
The brochure your looking at is false information.
Then again, there is no information for a SL400 at this tiime on that site. I don't believe they make a SL400 anymore.
Oh, and buy the SL550 instead of a SL400/450. Or if buying used, buy a 2014 CL550. There's a good buy in Memphis Tn. Has 13K miles on it and goes for $56,800 bucks. Found on CARGURUS

The information is incorrect though.
Could be that the marketing dept. updating the brochure from the previous model year (which featured the 7G-Tronic Plus) just changed the 7 to a 9.
Here is a snapshot direct from Mercedes Germany.

Rather have a brand new 2017 SL400 (zero miles and I know how it has been driven) with all the items i want.
. Don't really want or need the extra power from the V8.
