Just picked up a new Diamond White SL450 2 days a ago.

Does anyone know how many batteries are in the 17 SL450's?

Also if you connect a battery charger to the terminals under the hood shown in the manual does it charge both batteries at once if equipped?

I read somewhere that the 2017 now has only 1 battery?

 

2 in mine! One behind the right seat in the box and one in the boot (trunk). Not sure about the batteries but it makes sense that both would charge. I'd like to know what chemistry / format they are e.g. Lead Acid, AGM, Gel???
