Three weeks ago I purchased a 2013 SL63 with 31k miles and a 3 year unlimited mileage CPO warranty (car was CPO and I bought 2 more years). Within a couple of days the hood warning light started going off and I noticed that the parking sensors were not working. I took the car to Mercedes in Plano Tx for repair.

Today I learned that the hood open sensors need to be replaced and that there is a parking sensor that needs replacement (requiring the bumper to be removed). The surprising thing is that none of this is covered by the CPO warranty.

Has anyone run into this - exclusion of electrical components including sensors from the CPO warranty? At the stage I’m considering pushing Mercedes to refund the money that I paid for the two year CPO extension.
