SL550
Side badging angle?
Model: 2013 SL550 -- I want to add the (stacked 1 on top of the other) V8 BITURBO badging on the front side panels between the 2 chrome accents just past the black side vent/grill. The 2 accents are on a slight upward angle (from front to back).

Question: Does the badging go "horizontal" to the car OR on a "slight upward angle" to match the chrome accents??

Well, the side vents are not designed for any badging on the SL550. Only the SL63 used the Badge and they use a different vent. I suggest to look at some SL63 images and see how thats done...

Thanks Wolfman. I can't tell from on line pictures. The angle is so slight. The side grill looks almost exactly the same on 550 & 63. The 2013 SL550 is born with a 429 hp, V8, Biturbo so no harm in badging. I'm not making it out to be something it's not. Mine also has the AMG Sport Package.

No problem with using the badge at all. It's a proper use if so desired. Here is a fuzzy pic but it clearly shows the angle.
