AMG GTC Roadster, E63s Ed.1, M8 Comp. Coupe
From the looks, I like the AMG GTC roadster the best. The drive is the most competent and agile as the car features rear wheel steering. But it is stiff and the car has bucket seats with few creature comforts. It has a soft top which makes it more of a summer car compared to the SL which is a true four season car with it's hard top.The glass roof is a must for us in cold MN winters. The SL550 is also pretty fast and so is the SL63 but the AMG GTC (not the GT) will outrun either car easily.
I just put a couple thousand miles on a S560 cabriolet so I have had a good comparison between the SL, S-Class cab and the AMG GT roadster and cars are geared toward a specific experience and interestingly are not overlapping at all.
So far, the SL is the best convertible of the three. The best top down in terms of wind at any speed, the best with top up with glass roof, solidity and noise and believe it or not, it has the most practical trunk of them all.
In terms of comfort though, the S-Class makes no compromises. It rides as smooth as our S550 did and if that was a priority, there is no other choice (well maybe a RR Dawn). The Bentley is crap compared to it.
That said, unless I see the new SL in some shape, we are planning to get a AMG GTC roadster...

Yes, I also thought they did a good job, especially when considering their ages along with the Canadian models having some slight differences from US models. I can remember way back when I thought 60 and above was "old people" so I had no problem with those remarks. I will say that their comments about the SL's infotainment system would apply to me. LOL

I love driving these cars and can occasionally share my experience with different models. Am glad if any of this can be useful or is worth a read
