Question Calibrating Speed Sensor for Increasing Tire Aspect Ratio

Hi, the time has come for me to replace the tires on my 2014 SL550 with 255/35/R19 tires up front and 285/30/R19 tires in the rear. I would like to change the tires to 255/40/R19 and 285/35/R19 to improve ride quality. I have two questions. First of all, will anything rub or collide? second, how could I get the wheel speed sensors re-calibrated, and how much would it cost if it's possible?

Thanks for your help!

If sized right the wheel will be bigger but the outside diameter of the tire will stay the same and no recalibration should be necessary.

By my math (possibly incorrect) you will read 67-68 at 65 with the change. You are basically gaining ~1cm of sidewall. Given that speedometers are usually conservative(read about 2-3mph fast at 65), I suspect the speedo will actually read pretty close to dead on with REAL mph. Given that, I"m not sure I would get it calibrated. But to get the correct sizing (I believe) you would have to go to a wider tire....which suspect is not your goal, which I assume is more sidewall, better ride. Why not go to a -1 wheel?

Not sure on the rubbing though.

Thanks for your help! I don't want to change the rims and the larger tire diameter does fill up the wheel wells much better too.
