Remote start
Is Mercedes Me the only way to remote start the car? Also, I have a 2013. So, is Mercedes Me even an opotion?

2017 SL450
I've got a 2017 and I don't believe that Mercedes Me will remotely start my car. Hope I'm wrong.

No remote start for the 2013 or 2017.
Disadvantage of a small production volume car

That seems to be primarily for MBrace (Mercedes Me) access. Remote start is not supported for these models in the US. Our MY17 didn't support it but perhaps MY18 or 19 does. Not that I needed it as it is one of the most complained options of MB cars. Check with Streamliner on his Mercedes Me app for MY19 compatibility...

I don't need it either, just wondered what that "feature" on the data card is. I work from home mostly, and when it'd cold (or hot) out, I run outside and "remote start" my wife's car for her about 10 minutes before she leaves for work.
