SL/R231: Lights?

I believe that mine work in auto or manual.....only thing is that fog lights are always manual (car has no way to know it is foggy).

C300 and SL500
I can't find any reference to fog lights in the manual for my 2013 SL 550.
Those strips at the front are referred to as DRL - Daytime Running Lights. You can manage the way they operate from the settings in COMAND.
In my 2004 SL500 you pulled the light switch out to activate the front and rear fog lights. That doesn't work on the SL550.
