Oh I understand alright, but I also recall that it was you who was complaining, not commenting before on colors with MB interior choices, so you seem to making a habit of it. But as you say horses for courses.

 

Well, we all have our own opinions, likes & dislikes. I find it good looking, others won’t. To each their own.

 

Mercedes Benz knows that their cars sell themselves so that others can BE SEEN, FEEL SPECIAL, drive a nicer car then the other guy...........it's true they do not care what 'you' think only about your billfold.

 

Pretty much true story- but in the case of the SL they are looking after THEIR billfold. When your only selling hundreds a year they are maybe more exclusive than MB wanted them to be? LOL. And as such options will be fewer. I have a Golf R 2018 model- up until last year we got 5 pain choices. BMW M2- they are limited production (but could easily sell
double or triple what they make) they have 5 color options and 2 (Bland) interior choices. The SL in comparison has many choices- but would love monochrome interior option. Well they do- Black, and thats what I got!
