Well, I’m way south of there, but know the Big Sur, Carmel, Monterey area well.
Understand completely !! I received my (first) SL on March 19 of this year ... my wife says I'm still smiling ... and has observed I have finally stopped searching for cars !!! Imagine that.

EXACTLY what my wife is hoping- I will always look at cars and watch reviews- but really the SL is just going to be perfect for me I believe. I didnt want a "racy" looking car like Porsche or Jaguar. I am 60 and who am I kidding? LOL The SL
is the absolute best of ALL worlds, a coupe with space, perfect convertible, Amazing sound system (supposedly, I reserve judgement on the B&O. And i got a V-8 before they go away for ever! Totally worth me getting rid of my S550 Coupe for.
