QUOTE]
I had a '67 MGB GT (preowned & I acquired it in about '82) - It was a real old rust bucket but lots of fun. I should have held onto it as (unusually) it had an automatic gear box and was quite rare. My wife and I toured large parts of the UK in it (she was about 7 months pregnant and did not enjoy getting in and out
).My SL is also White with a Bengal Red interior - I purchased mine new and @ 3 years is still a thrill to drive. We has been to Ireland, France, Germany and Scotland in it and as above are going back to Scotland this year and Spain& south of France later in the year. It is always a head turner wherever we go.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG

Had it out again yesterday, along the coast in Huntington Beach.

I love my Polar White SL63 - the Night Package and the AMG titanium wheels really enhances the presentation.

This view never gets old!
Nice place to let the car run!
A great drivers road way, when not too crowded!

OTE]
We have a good friend that lives in Boulder. It was on our to-do list for this year (I also want to get to Pike's Peak). For one reason or another (mainly births & deaths
) we have been unable to travel far for 3 years now. Hopefully next year willl be better.

lol .....

Summit County which includes Breckenridge, Frisco, Copper Mt., Dillon is under an order that "prohibits short-term rentals from operating until May 31."
The "stay at home" order in CO was lifted over the weekend except for the Denver area. For sure we are completely "self quarantined" and in fact when we return to our retirement community patio home in the Denver area we must quarantine for 14 days. The only contact we've had other than ourselves are several curbside pickups of groceries and a couple of Amazon deliveries. Being in the vulnerable age group (I turned 75 yesterday), we are being very cautious -- masks, gloves, sanitizer, etc. I doubt if we emerge into the public until July -- and maybe not then. I hope all of our bloggers stay safe and healthy.
