SL/R231: V6 Turbo Sound

V6 Turbo Sound
As I am decelerating to a stop I can hear a sound from my engine compartment that does not sound normal. Hard to describe but I thought it might be the turbos spooling down. Is there a distinct noise from this engine? This is my first Mercedes and my first TT V6. Thanks.

That might be it. The only time it is noticeable is when we are driving with the top down and decelerating to a stop in a quiet area. I have an appt to have the shop foreman at my local dealer take a test drive on Thursday. Maybe it's normal but I don't think it is. Luckily it is still covered by my CPO warranty. Fingers crossed. Shop Foreman tells me the sounds I am hearing from the engine are normal. We only hear it when the top is down and the radio is off or turned down very low. It sounds like injectors and turbos to me as the sound fully diminishes completely once the car comes to a stop and the engine is idling but what do I know, this is my first Mercedes. I am used to the silky smooth and quiet BMW I6 motors like I have in my X5.
