I cannot imagine how using a maintainer would void this warranty.

To me, it does not seem logical to supply jumper/charging points that would not charge all batteries and thus oblige people to connect an accessory charging point for the auxillary which is tucked away in an inaccessible point.




To me, it does not seem logical to supply jumper/charging points that would not charge all batteries and thus oblige people to connect an accessory charging point for the auxillary which is tucked away in an inaccessible point.
I’m not sure, but another explanation may be:
1. It’s very common for vehicle Power Management Systems to monitor the main battery voltage and limit power to non-essential loads when the battery voltage is below a predetermined level.
2. Eco mode is most likely designated a non-essential load. Therefore, if the main battery is low, the Power Management System limits power to the Eco circuits until the main battery is sufficiently charged and capable of handling heaver loads, such as frequently starting the vehicle.
Again, not sure, but it seems logical.
