SL/R231: Pause in acceleration

All the delay is with the "traction control" in the OFF position.
Is there a "stability" control within the vehicle that may be kicking in? The rear tires have a slight bounce upon initial extreme acceleration.
Could this be a stability control activating the anti lock braking system?
YES to answer you inquiries, I do intend to bring it to the mercedes dealership if all else fails.

If the issue is not happening with ESP engaged, then that's your answer. If I recall correctly, though can not be 100% positive, in non-AMG cars, even when ESP is in "OFF" position, it is never really totally off.

You may be correct ThreeMB's, I thought the same thing. That the traction control/ESP while in the OFF position, is never really off completely!
