part number request

Does anyone know what the part number is of the trunk tray / pad thing that I've marked in red?

FYI: I use MB Direct Parts (roughly 40% less than most parts resellers and still an OEM Dealer).

231-814-00-41 Cargo Tray

www.MBDirectParts.com

Amazon has the net that goes over it. $20 I think!

I had seen that part, but it looks slightly different - it's specifically made out of a rubbery material that makes it simpler to pick up spilled liquids. The one that was in my car and in the picture above is carpeted like the rest of the trunk area. That part on mbpartsonline also says it was only in 2014-2015 models, and was discontinued.

Do you mean the floor cover? Or something else. Perhaps I don’t know what you are looking for.

FYI - The part number I shared is the same cargo liner i have in my 2017 SL63. I had the same in my 550. The trunk is exactly the same size pre and post facelift, and it fits perfectly. It’s a semi rigid rubber, similar to my MB all season floor mats, with raised edges. Happy to take a picture or two if it helps.

Sometimes you have to search a number of sites and model years to get the part number you are looking for - then you can search the web for that part number.

Best of luck!

A2318140041 is the rubber/plastic tray that is sold as an additional accessory, meant to sit on top of the fabric "Cover Trunk Floor".

The part you actually want should be A2316800502-9F28, replacing the older A2316800042-9F28. Indicative pricing would be around ~$/€/£ 200-300 I think.

Before attempting any of this, consult a Mercedes-Benz dealership parts department and seek their advice.
