I found a receipt in the glove compartment with the original owner's name and phone number. I left him a voicemail and he called me back last night. He never had trouble with it and in six years all it ever needed was oil changes and filters.
I really like those wheels as well. The OP might think about some ceramic brake pads to reduce the dust, as those wheels will be a bear to keep clean.

Do you have any recommended brand for ceramic brake pads? And where can I go to have them installed?
I put Power Stops on mine. A friend with a lift and I installed them. Not a difficult job. The dust has been reduced about 90% and they perform well on the street, no squealing or other noise. Bought them from CARID along with new brake sensors.

Any shop that does brakes can install them. I bought a set from Porterfield Racing Brakes in Costa Mesa, CA. They worked great, no squealing, good feel and highly reduced dust. That said, they were pricey and I know others here have used other brands that were reasonably less expensive and have gotten similar results. If you do a bit of searching for ceramic pads here, I’m sure you’ll find the brand names. Good luck.
There is a bright red w/ black interior 2013 SL550 in Thousand Oaks with about 15K miles. It is similarly priced and appears to be a nice car, but I have not looked at it since I am happy with my 2016 SL400. As much as I love bright red cars, the cardinal red on my SL w/ tan interior is pretty much as good as it gets for me.
