SL/R231: Extended Warranty
I made the biggest mistake by not doing so. I did my homework and the after market dealer warranty company that stood out was CARCHEX.
So with the (more than likely false) reviews, I purchased an additional 2 years. BIG MISTAKE.
I asked 100 questions to the agent prior to purchasing and was convinced I was good.
To date: 2 claims and 2 claims denied (Fortunately for me the "pre existing condition" is not going to work. I have the Michigan Attorney General now proceeding with an inquire as The Attorney General in MA where they are located now doing an investigation as well.
So to all my Mercedes Benz family, if you enlisted in an extended warranty from CARCHEX aka Royal Administrative Services and had the same experiences as I have, I would greatly appreciate you sharing those concerns.

The second problem was a leaking headlamp housing which in a "Bumper to Bumper" warranty, this would be inclusive of the warranty, however, not the actual lights, lamps, led's etc. which I understood.
However, afterwards, they claim this was not inclusive of their warranty.
If I were to do it again, I would only go through an authorized Mercedes Benz Dealer.
Lesson learned.
