SL/R231: Off topic but: Vettel drives his F1 Ferrari for a work record around Nurburgring

Ten years ago I "drove" a friend's $15,000 simulator that he had in his basement and it was pretty amazing. Of course, it included a large HD flat screen TV. In turns, the driver's seat would move sideways and if you drove over rumble strips in a turn, the seat would vibrate. Driving on the Laguna Seca track, I spun out on one turn -- tire skid marks were laid down on the track and they remained showing there through the end of the session. I can only imagine the complexity and accuracy of a current F1 simulator. It would include the effects of subtle changes in parameters such as ride hight, shock and spring rates, tire pressure, etc. plus engine, transmission and brake settings. But it is hard to simulate one an a half hours of frequent 4-5g braking and cornering that F1 drivers experience.
