Dumb question of the day

Ok, there is a small fluid reservoir on the top center of the engine, just under the plastic trim…can anyone tell me what that is? It looks kinda like a coolant tank but i am not certain. Please help solve this mystery.

Separate cooling circuit for Intercooler. Should take the same coolant as your radiator.
Make sure it’s not low

Sorry for the follow up, but what are the issues it would cause if low?

Top is the “split line” on the reservoir.

Engine may lose power on hot days or heavy usage. It could also trigger check engine light.
May also lead to to engine damage in extreme cases.

Good Luck,
