15 SL 400 Shock install
Hey everyone,
I am replacing my front shocks before the real cold hits later in the year and I park the car for the season. Is the front shock install a basic job that any shop can do with ease, or is it some complicated, special tools and training job just because it is Mercedes?? Already got the parts from Mercedes, so now just need them installed..
Thanks in advance.

Did not have enough time to hear back from anyone, so I had them installed at a local shop. More of a strut than shock, but Blk beauty is riding nice and quiet over bumps now..

I’m sure everyone on here but me gets them cheaper, but that is what I paid for MB OEM. I didn’t have time to keep searching, and then wait for shipping, because I had a small window to have them installed while I was in town.

Install plus alignment $542.
Wayyyyyyy less than Mercedes quoted me that’s for sure. Again though, I didn’t have a lot of time to get these done. Even though I do not feel a problem with the rears I will likely do them next spring based on my mileage.
