This may help. Why don't you just start with an ECU tune? A tune will get you over 500hp and is a lot cheaper than replacing the turbos. Plus, you'll need a tune with the new turbos.

Start with an ECU tune, better, wider tires, and an SL63 performance pack LSD to actually put the power down. I have a thread of almost all mods available for the R231.

I Bought an "AS-IS" $90,000 Mercedes AMG at Auction and got 50% OFF (Twin Turbo C63s) - YouTube

I have used Vivid Racing's VRTune on my SL400 and am very happy. Here's a link possibly for your car. I don't know what year yours is.

VR Tuned ECU Flash Tune Mercedes SL500 | SL550 4.7L Bi-Turbo V8 R231 435HP 12-15 | VRT-MB-SL550-435 (vividracing.com)

There are other tuners, as well.

MERCEDES BENZ SL500-SL550 - 4.7L BiTurbo M278 (oetuning.com)

What year is your car?
