You can get over 500hp with:
  1. SL65
  2. SL550 tuned
  3. SL400/450 with Weistec turbo upgrade and tune.
What the hell are puddle lights? Sounds like something to illuminate the ground when you pull over to the side of the road at night to pee.

SL 400
The lights that shine on the ground that aluminate the entry. Most times they shine the brand logo on the ground.

Like I said, lights for when you make puddles on the side of the road at night.

Our SL had those, luckily without the logo. We have logo lights on our other cars; not a big fan…

As a side bonus that people with the pre facelift may not know. If you have the rear partition in the access mode (prevents you from putting the top down) You can open all windows with the key fob. With the partition closed you would be putting the top up, or down with the key fob buttons, but with the partition up you can put all windows down without affecting the top. Sometimes the sun is too much mid day for top down, but not too much for windows down. I love putting all for windows down as I walk toward the car. I am easily to please that way.....

FYI I often leave my partition in access mode, so I don't mistakenly start the top operation via something pushing the key fob buttons in my pocket, or whatever.
This is called the summer opening feature. But it should only be possible to activate the feature via IR and not radio, meaning it only works when you point the key at the vehicle, not while having it in your pocket. So no reason to leave the partition open...

Navigation updates.- Do you mean software updates for the latest maps, or do you mean if driving and you tun because of and issue it updates and reroutes you? It already does the latter.

We have puddle lights.
I meant software updates for latest maps. Getting latest maps for most car brands via hard media is usually hit or miss.

Ok, never attempted any other way, but didn’t know all the possibilities. Thanks for the info.

I love the logo lights feature. Looks super cool at night. To each his own though.

Absolutely! If you like it, its a super-cheap retrofit and quick to do...

At first I thought the logo puddle lights were kind of cheesey but once I installed them that quickly changed. Like them a lot now.

Could you give a little more info..... like the install procedure and where you bought them? A pic would be good too, but I understand that might get tough to do. How bad of a job to do?

I still think they are cheesy. Now, if they projected the Batman logo, that would be cool.

Super easy to install, just use one of those plastic pry tools to wedge into lens slot and carefully remove the old unit and disconnect wire connector. Snap new logo light into place after reconnecting the wires, voila you're done. Bought mine from eBay.

Mine (puddle lights) are in the wing mirrors so are actually useful when approaching the car before opening the door. They have the MB star logo but as they project onto the ground and it is unlikely that anyone else sees them, I like them.

Hey... you could get the new SL and keep your Mustang front end grill... the new front end grill reminds me a lot of the new style Mustang front end.
