Yesterday on the freeway the cruise control, active lane change assist, active blindspot assist, and active brake assist went went out. Message on the dash screen described them as "inoperative". It actually happened at least two times before going out permanently. The car is under warranty so I will get it to the dealer in the near future, but I am wondering if this is a common issue and if there may be a simple solution.

I lost all Distronic features on my '17 SL last year - the diagnosis and repair:
>> R&R brake light switch / pin bushing housing / contact spring / connector was found to be brittle
It did throw a Code to lead the Tech to that part .... Good Luck,

Although this doesn't sound quite the same, I just had this happen for the first time last week in severe rain. Within a mile or two it came back so I assume it was the inability of the radar(s) to receive transmission reflections – or something like that!

I have had this happen on numerous MB vehicles. It always seems to go away fairly soon. It has never not gone away within a day or so.
