Remember Your Roots

Yes, I know this is not an R231 but I saw this at a show in Frederick today and thought I would share. Bonus points for the first to correctly state the model year. Hint - there is no specific MBWorld sub-forum for this model (that I've seen).

I don't see headrests, so I'll venture that this is a 1967 model. I believe headrests were required in the U.S. starting with 1968.

Wow - I'm totally on the wrong coast this week. Always amazing rides at Monterey Car Week, and glad for the Internet and car sites to see great coverage. Thanks Wolfman for pointing me to the right forum for vintage models. Enthusiastic noob makes rookie mistake. Will be more mindful next time :-)
