Need help installing Nav Maps into my 2017 SL450
Hello everyone,
I'm trying to update the nav map database in my 2017 SL 450 using an update that I downloaded from MB Navisolutions. The instructions say to: "1) download the nav database using Mega download manager. 2) Unzip all the
files to the root of the USB flash drive. 3) Plug the USB into the center console. 4) Click OK to update map and enter the map PIN". I've been trying to update my car's nav database following the above instructions for
6 days now without success. When I unzip the downloaded file to the root of the USB flash drive an item labeled A1720046499 appears and nothing else. When I plug the flash drive into the center console I get the
following message: "NO PLAYABLE FILES FOUND" and that ends the update attempt. I tried moving all of the files and folders from A1720046499 to the root of the USB flash drive then deleting A1720046499. I
plugged the USB flash drive back into the center console but I got the same "NO PLAYABLE FILES FOUND" message when I tried to start the update process. I viewed the contents of the A1720046499 folder
and I didn't see any executable files. I've exchanged several emails with MB Navisolutions Support asking for help but all I've gotten from them are hyperlinks back to Mega to re-send more zipped downloads of the nav map update
with the same installation instructions.
If any of our readers have successfully updated their nav maps on SL 450 - SL 550 made before 2018 using downloaded databases from MB Navisolutions I'd really appreciate your comments on what I'm doing wrong in
