SmartTop 2016 facelift install problem
Has anyone successfully installed the mods4cars SmartTop module in a post facelift SL?
I have a 2016 post facelift SL R231 and have installed the unit and whilst the remote functions work the main switch no longer works, nor does the electric wind deflector switch nor the switch in the boot to move the boot separator ….
Mine is the later model with the automatic electric boot separator which isn’t shown on the install details …. But product says 2012 - so expecting to work.

I have it on my 2019 with no issues. It sounds like a connection was not made properly since the wind deflector is not part of the ST's available features. So for it not to work makes it sound like a connection is off.
