Scan Tool..Which one do we like?
Just got my ex gf a 2014 E350 coupe and I have the 2013 SL550. Figured I might as well get a scan tool that I could use for both cars in case anything pops up. Wanted to see which one the community likes best. I searched but could not find the thread I was looking for hence my post.

As I'm sure you're aware, there are a myriad of other scanners out there. Probably none within a reasonable budget, will be as comprehensive as SDS/XENTRY. They all pretty much have some limitations. I think budget and cross compatibility between other makes of cars, will dictate what scanner most people purchase.
XENTRY Passthru is pretty good, I do find the SDS to be more reliable and comprehensive. But it's pretty easy to get started with the OBDII interface required with XENTRY Passthru and easiest to get up and running reliably. It will require some comfort with installing and adjusting computer software and settings.
