Difference speed indication needle and display

Yesterday I noticed (for the first time) the speed on the display between speedometer and RPM has about 4-5 km off to the needle speedometer
I know the needle is standard a bit higher than actual speed, but is that normal?

If I understand your question than yes, the needles will be off and never sync. the RPM needle will never match the speed needle.

He is referring to the speedometer needle on the left and the digital readout in the center.

My assumption is that the center display is the accurate speed.
Keep in mind that both displays are digital by nature even if the needle is an analog display. Digital input source.
Differences can be due to the mechanism or needle position.

Ahhh, I see that now. I never see the details as well when viewing on my phone vs when on my Mac..

Decided to check mine. Both gages match up pretty well.
