Hello all,
I can’t test this at the moment, but maybe some of you will know.
If you are parked top down and alarm set can someone jump in your car ala Dukes of Hazzard and hit your trunk release and open your trunk? Or does it cancel all things since the alarm is set?

Cool, that makes sense.
I never leave the car top down unless I can see it, I am near and I will not be away from it long, but it would literally take seconds to hit the trunk button so I wanted to check what someone could do. It's going to rain today so I wont be able to check, but Sunday I will test that scenario to see what locks and if anything remains unlocked from the inside. I assume that if I open the door from the inside the alarm will go off, but I want to test that too.
Edit-
I have confirmed all that you said. And yes, the center console also locks. Nothing happens when you push the release button. Cool.

On these 70 degree days, it's (emotionally) hard to put the top back up when parked. However, since birds around me love to poop on my car after I wash it, I don't trust what they might do with the top down.
