SL/R231: SUBFRAMES

Hello all,
Can anyone tell me if there is a difference in the subframes between the R 230 and R 231 and what are they.
I know there is a difference in lenght and width and also I have read that the R 231 has Titanium crossmembers.

On the material side, I'm pretty sure (but not totally positive) the body and skin are all aluminum with the exception of the windshield frame (high strength steel) and roof (magnesium alloy).

Yes, our cars are covered. I got the letter for my C350, but not the SL400 yet. Not to worry, the letter does not limit coverage to a specific VIN, though your VIN is listed on the letter.
