SL 63 SL400
Question STARTUP_Rattle R231
Greetings fellow aficionados. I recently started to hear little funk at startup. Doesn't sound normal, and I thought I would field the query for an extra set of trained ears before I pull the stealership trigger.

Audio file attached, rattle occurs during first 4 seconds of cold startup

75K miles regular oil changes and tuneups.

2020 GLC300 -2014 Sl550 - 1997 SL600
Sounds like chain tensioners and check valves.

Theres the TSB on the issue:

If it’s the tensioners it is a somewhat easy fix
