German made parts in a German vehicle, sounds like a good match, should play well together.
Well, this is what the sticker says on my DieHard Platinum from Advance Auto Parts, that is I wanted to let everybody know, whether is legit or not that is another subject !

I know VARTA is a German brand and is OEM in many vehicles made in Germany. My SL had a new replacement battery when I bought it but I'd be interested to know if Mercedes assembled in Germany do get VARTA batteries. If anyone has an Mercedes SUV that is assembled in Alabama I'd be interested to know what brand of battery they get.

My Duracell battery in my C350 is manufactured in Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania was one of the colonies where German settlers first settled. That makes it kinda German.
