Driver's door rubber seal on door frame ripped.....
I have a 2017 R231 and the driver's side rubber seal on the bottom door frame is torn. I am sure it got torn by sitting on it and sliding into the seat. Does any one have a part No. and where I might find the rubber seal?
I have restored a lot of cars in my lifetime, but never a German POS. Usually I can just drop by the nearest junk yard and get some good parts. But NO !! not on a Mercedes. And I have learned that
my local MB dealer is of no help. They are so low on qualified techs that if it's not a R & R, they don't have time for it.

It will be tough to find an MB specialist wrecking yards depending on where you live.
Once these types of in demand cars hit Copart or IAA, they get snapped up by one of the specialized wrecking yards throughout the US.
You’ll never see an S or SL at a place like “Pick your Part”
I’m fortunate, there are several specialized wrecking yard in my area (somewhat), One run by a friend/old customer.
I know there are several in Florida and the ones I deal with are in the Sacramento area. You’ll need to do some research if you ever need some of the tougher to find discontinued parts.
