S63 AMG Cabrio
New "production year" as of december 2022

See here: https://mbpassion.de/2022/10/mercede...enderungsjahr/ (in German, but easy to understand or translate I think).

Little price increase, metallic paint for SL43 without extra costs, Park Memory availably (PBH), etc.

to me the most import part is:

Die AMG Performance Sitze sowie das Multikontursitz-Paket sowie die Polsterung Leder Nappa / Microfaser MICROCUT schwarz (Code 701A/711A, früher als „DINAMICA“ bezeichnet) ist zukünftig frei bestellbar.

The AMG Performance seats as well as the Multi-Contours package as well as the Nappa/Microfiber MICROCUT which previously was known as DINAMICA is going to be freely able to be ordered.

I have just been told that MB has withdrawn the MY 2023 Ordering Guide and removed the available 2023 build slots from dealers.

Hmmm, first sell all the "old" MY2022 cars before making MY2023 available?

it seems like they are doing something similar with the w206 c300 (holding MY23 cars until MY22 have been liquidated).

Could be mistaken. I also don't blame them but I don't think it will pay off for them long term. Cut your losses, discount the old cars and make customers happy IMO.

There really aren't enough 22 C 300's in inventory to worry about. 46 cars in P2 and P3(unsold) status in the entire western region.

That may be true but just trying to illustrate a possible correlation in overall mentality from MB.

I have no idea at the end of the day, take with salt.

Knowing the overall mentality of MB better than almost anyone here I would surmise there is either a regulatory or logistic issue interrupting the release of certain 23 models.
A manufacturer would never hold up release of a product simply because there are leftover models. Leftover models are the dealers problem.
Manufacturers carry the cost of these cars until the are released to the dealers. They have a fiduciary interest to release these cars as soon as possible.

That certainly does not seem to be the case with the 23 E Cab as it has been EPA certified for a while and some, at least ours, have been sitting at the VPC for several months now. In fact, I am not aware of any 23 E Cabs that have been released at all.

Hope they are listening to you and releasing these.

There are 3 in dealer inventory. I would imagine your has some logistical problem. Maybe missing parts?

I was just told that it has been released and will be on a truck soon. So just a slow release.
