First nicer interior spotted in local SL55
I suppose I haven't paid attention to how many SL's have the exclusive Nappa leather but a local SL55 sports it (option 835). A small ($1900) but significant upgrade IMO...

It hasn’t been nearly as rare as we thought. I’ve seen a few dozen exclusive interior (almost all beige) cars.

Definitely…really nice…would not have walked away if our car had been built with this as originally ordered.

Yeap! Probably us too. We were really turned off with the plain interior
Meanwhile, I’ve seen very few with the Nappa interior.

They were constrained on both SL and S-Class for a time being as I believe the Exclusive Napa Leather is sourced from Ukraine.

I assume that Mercedes planned for the majority of the SL's to come with the exclusive Nappa interiors so this supply disruption will have cost them quite a few orders. It's only $2k but makes a world of difference for the look and feel.

I remember on the GTC's the exclusive Nappa was free but some colors combinations only came in plain leather (like our red pepper/black) while other colors had the diamond stitching which I would have loved (brown, macchiato).
