I don't seem to be finding access to AM radio in my new 22 SL63 . Have depended on AM 680 in the Toronto ON area for road reports every 10 min.
I can't find anything in the manual either.
Any info appreciated.

I haven't done a deep search, but I noticed that AM radio was missing also on the radio Home Screen. Weird.

Last week when I placed my order for a 2023 SL55, I was told no am radio due to parts shortages. It didn’t matter to me since I very rarely listen to FM or AM radio. I doubt the Burmester system could do much to mask an AM signal.

Insane! So many living in metro areas rely on AM radio for traffic reports. I cannot believe that if they were really concerned about this that whatever parts were needed could not have been sourced somewhere. Sheesh!

For those lamenting the demise of AM radio (Porsche has also eliminated it from new models, both gas and EV), check to see if your desired content can be streamed through your phone.

My 2022 SL55 has developed the same problem. When I first got the car a couple of months ago I programmed AM stations into my favorit. Then when I set up a second profile AM vanished. Even teh dealer does not know why or how to get it back.

I don’t know of a single person who relies on am radio for traffic report. I would think most everyone would rely on the internet, Google or waze for traffic. (Yes, I am of the age where my first car had am radio and an 8 track player).
