CONQUEST $ on 22 SL 55's and 63's
FYI there is $10,000.00 of conquest $ on 55's and 63's if you currently own a Porsche or MB SL or AMG.

This seems to indicate that the R232 market weakened.......right on schedule.........only to weaken further. Considering the early issues as presented on this forum, maybe the $10K incentive should be rebates to the Beta testing early owners. I wouldn't accept the electrical drain and orange peel on my Honda. Sadly, MB is in trouble

The whole bloody price gouging thing has gone too far; blame covid, stimulus, fraud, overblown home prices etc. etc. etc., but enough is enough. This will only end when either the 10yr T note hits 5% (what most borrowing is based on) or people push back and just say no and walk away. Too damn much $ out there and too many overnight millionaires that are sucking their newfound wealth out of their overvalued homes. And they wonder why there's inflation...

I’ll bet the folks at MBUSA would just be thrilled to know that someone leaked this memo.

Does the "Conquest Money" go to the dealership or to the customer ?
I am not familiar with this program.

as RJC pointed out it is not confidential. Program started yesterday and if you call your dealer they will be happy to tell you about it. Should be posted on various dealers websites under “specials” in a few days.

There is nothing wrong with a MB "call to arms" to shift market share from Porsche to AMG SL or to keep previous SL owners in the fold. The incentive aims at specific groups of owners and the only one I can't really explain is " previous AMG owners 2020-22. They can't really target GTS, GT, GTC owners because there were hardly any delivered those years.

So, from the "horses mouth".
The incentive comes to the dealer who, based on circumstances can pass some or all to the customer.

The dealer should be passing it all on to the customer based upon the specific terms of the current program. So far only one of the dealers I've been speaking to mentioned it and it was on the first day they offered it...kudos to Lauren and her management team@ RBM in Alpharetta GA!

Too bad it isn’t available on the 2023 SLs since Lauren is my Sales Associate. She is great at letting me know that she is closely monitoring when MB releases the 2023 SL55 prices. My car has been sitting at the VPC for 10 days waiting for MB to release the MSRP. She also checked to verify that nothing else was being done to my car at VPC (e.g, no repairs, stop sale, etc). Great customer service.

I do feel somewhat badly for those that drank the Kool-Aid and paid msrp or over for these late blooming 22's.
The dealer I met with this week prior to me finding out about the conquest $, swore there's no programs etc. and said they're expecting $12,000-$15,000 msrp increases on 55 and 63's respectively ...unfortunately his credibility dropped after saying that, but maybe that’s what he was told. Folks have gotten fat/greedy on full gross deals and not just in the auto industry.

I found a listing for a 2023 SL63 online with the price and options list. I used the vin to verify it was a 2023 (it was). Based on the advertised price, there was no change in price from 2022 to 2023. Whether or not that is true I cannot say for certain without seeing the actual Monroney label.

No, of course not. Mentioning it to a prospective customer isn’t a problem. BUT, seeing it in memo form, out on the World Wide Web, there are going to be many unhappy 232 owners who will feel like they got screwed. In addition, other prospective buyers, who don’t have a targeted trade will also feel slighted. I’m quite sure that the actual, hard copy of this promo announcement was never meant to be seen by the general public, at least not online.

I doubt my SA would have sent it to me if it were an issue, or at the very least said not to share it. I also believe the terms in it are exactly what will be public facing.

Years ago, Edmunds was the site to check out for invoice price information, and info on incentives, holdback numbers, etc. Yesterday, when I was searching online, I found a number of dealers who on their websites advertised Conquest $$ programs for various MB models, including the list of eligible competitive models, the need to show a registration for the competitive vehicle, and that a trade in was not necessary. These programs seem fairly public. The number of consumers who are readers of this site is a tiny percentage of the general public. The reality is that it is the middle of March 2023, the mothership is rolling out incentives to help both the dealers and potential buyers make room for the 2023 SLs. I don't see a problem with sharing awareness with others on this forum about a program that is available to anyone looking to save some money that is subsidized by MB. It is information like this that makes it worthwhile to participate on forums like this. Otherwise, I would just read the endless, repetitive reviews on YouTube or the outdated mainstream automotive journals. Thumbs up to @RJC for letting us know.
Nobody is signing NDA’s here and this is either published or internal sales info.
It’s quite common for dealers to make available incentives look like negotiated discounts and then markup finance/lease rates to get part of that back.
Bimmerpost does a nice job listing incentives/lease/finance rates in a sticky thread which will get updated as needed and others posting their deals…
Information is king…

So after reading through this thread I figured this out, you don’t have to trade in one of the cars listed (although my 2019 doesn’t apply) and someone said conquest money applies to other models. What are these other models and where did you find it?
TIA.
