It would had been better if this was a V12, oh well. 680 used to mean it was a V12 after all.

In the old days, German cars lived by form follows function. This is a fluff piece. I wonder if there's a spinner wheel option?? The white interior needs a fun fur dash. I previously mentioned this was the "Pimp" edition. I apologize to pimps, they have better taste.
I've complained before about the MB decisions..........fire the entire senior management and BOD! I will give them credit for consistency........consistent bad decisions.

I saw that coming since regular MB vehicles have the stars all over the car from screens, grilles, bumper, bumper vents, projections, headlight, tailights, trim pieces, etc.
Naturally, they would do the same on the Maybach but instead of stars, Maybach logos instead and I guess on steroids as well.

I'm not the target market for this, so my opinion doesn't really matter.
But here it is anyway!
This is a very confusing car. I thought Maybachs were supposed to be the utmost luxurious vehicles. Normally that means large, lofty vehicles. S-class? I get it. GLS-class? Yes, I get it. S-class cabriolet? I get. SL-class sports car? I definitely don't see it. This car appears to be a "cool" concept car I'd expect to see making the auto show circuit rounds, as it does look very pretty and has some cool features aka concept car / autoshow features.. But as a car for the road, and a car representing the Maybach brand, I just don't see how it fits.
Then again, MB has made some questionable calls in the past decade, with the release of the 35, 43, and 53 level AMG's, so this dilution of the sub-brands doesn't surprise me.
But I'm not the one buying this vehicle, so I'm just part of the peanut gallery.
