Whistling
Noticed a whistling noise coming from the mirror area drivers side with top down 50 mph+ (49 and whistling stops) anyone experience this? My passenger could hear as well. I recently had xpel ppf front and mirror caps. Searching around and it can be from the xpel. Going on Wednesday for them to wash and correct a few spots on the ppf.

I have my entire car wrapped and havent heard that noise. I guess if there is an area on the mirror that is loose or poorly wrapped but it seems that would be unusual?

here is the mirror. I figured out that the mirrors are painted in obsidian black so the metallic flake is from the factory. I’m going to play around with tape on certain spots to see if the whistling goes away.

Yes, top down around 50 mph. I’ve heard a little whistling with top up at high speed but nothing that bothers me

you ever fix this? I tried using the rubber stoppers for furniture with no success
