SL/R232: Auto Trunk Only Opens Half Way

Auto Trunk Only Opens Half Way
Hello all. So today I find that my trunk only opens half way when using the driver door switch. Doesn't matter how long the switch is held, it won't budge past half way. You can manually push the trunk open the rest of the way and it closes correctly when using the switch on the trunk lid.
Any ideas? Is there a setting for this? I've looked but not sure exactly what to look for.

Yes, it's probably rare somebody would ever have to use this, but it's there because the trunk when open extends past the roofline, so in theory if somebody parked under a very low ceiling there's the potential it could hit something. For example I'm thinking of folks with multiple cars using lifts in their garages to stack cars.
